Environmentally friendly performance
The new Polo thinks differently about the future. Which is why the 66TDI is incredibly fuel-efficient with impressively low C02 emissions. Its 1.6-litre common rail turbo diesel engine is fitted with a diesel particulate filter, running on a very lean 4.7L/100km* for manual or 4.6L/100km* for DSG. But it doesn’t hold back on performance. It delivers a stimulating 66kW of power and 230Nm of torque, driving you further for cheaper.
Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) transmission
Go with the 5-speed manual or the optional 7-speed Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) transmission in your 66TDI. The thoughtful DSG transmission gives you the comfort of an automatic transmission, coupled with the dynamic drive of a manual. When driving, it pre-selects your next gear, allowing you to change gears seamlessly in a 3-4/1000ths of a second. So you can still have fun driving, while curbing your C02 emissions.
Sophisticated style
Saving at the fuel pumps doesn’t mean you have to scrimp on style. The 66TDI offers creature comforts beyond its class. Switch on the cruise control and relax in the new ergonomically designed, height adjustable front seats. Drop down the 60/40 split folding rear seats and adjust the variable level boot floor to fit in bigger loads. Or simply run your hands over the multi-function leather steering wheel, and take a glimpse of the chrome interior highlights.
